Peninsula Indoor Rowing Championships

Note:
Women's team; varsity arrive by 7am, novices by 7:30. The 11th annual indoor rowing championships sponsored by Peninsula Junior Crew. Rowers compete on erg machines, viewing their position against the other rowers via a graphic of their "boat" on a video monitor. The competition attracts college coaches and scouts, who can get a good look at the individual athletes. All in all, an exciting, if not stressful, race.
