Peninsula Indoor Rowing Championships

Race Information
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2007

Congratulations to Caitlin McLester and Sam Schleiss for their second
and third place finishes in the junior lightweight category of the
Peninsula Indoor rowing event. Final times are not yet posted but
many personal records were broken by team members during the event
and many heats were won by BHS rowers. It was a great event for
everyone.

Directions:
880 South toward San Jose
Merge onto CA-92 W toward San Mateo Bridge
Merge onto US 101 N toward San Francisco
Take Peninsula Ave Exit toward Burlingame
Turn slight Right onto Peninsula Ave.
Turn Right onto California
Turn Right onto North Lane
Turn Left onto Carolan Ave

Address is 400 Carolan Ave, Burlingame, CA—gym is between school and football stadium.
Drive should take close to 40 minutes.

Arrival Time:
7:15 AM- when you arrive you are to immediately check in with coaches to get your exact race time. If you are entered as a lightweight you will need to find Sabrina.

Attire:
Varsity- should be dressed in uni-suits. Come dressed with uni-suits on, but you can bring a change of clothes for after.
Novices- should be dressed in novice t-shirts and black shorts. Come dressed with these on, but you can bring a change of clothes for after.

Identification:
Bring your school ID or drivers license.

Food:
Make sure you eat breakfast before you leave home to allow for it to digest before racing and give you energy. There will be a power bar and water at the race for you but you should bring your own water bottle as well to ensure that you stay hydrated.

Approximate Race Times: these are subject to change based on entries but your 2000 meter race will fall somewhere close to these times
8:20-9:20 AM Women’s Junior Novice (Novices)
9:50-10:05 AM Women’s Junior Lightweight (Varsity)
10:35-10:50 AM Women’s Junior Open (Varsity)
11:00-11:15 AM Morning Awards Ceremony (All)
