It's amazing how in such a short period of time crew can completely take over
your life. Over the past few months my time, conversations, thoughts, and dreams
have slowly evolved into crew-related subjects: strategy, practices, and yes,
even some complaints.
People ask me what it is about crew that makes me talk about it
so much. To this I don't know what to say. I've come to realize that crew is
one of those sports you have to do in order to understand. Perhaps it's the
complete newness of it. I've been playing sports for most of my life, but never
before have I gotten such a strong feeling of what my limits are, and reached
them. Never before developed such a close bond with people just by being on
the same team as them. Because of those reasons I have turned myself over and
given crew the dedication it demands. I have no regrets ...
