Directions to Lake Natoma

Directions from Berkeley (allow approx 1.5 hours travel time!):

- Take I-80 East

or:

- Take Hwy 24 East to I-680 North
- Take I-680 North to I-80 East
- Take I-80 East

In west Sacramento:

- Bear left onto Hwy. 50 East/Business I-80 (S Lake Tahoe)
- Continue thru Sacramento on Highway 50 toward Rancho Cordova in east Sacramento (about 20 miles)
- After passing Sunrise Blvd/Rancho Cordova exit, take the NEXT exit at Hazel Ave./Nimbus
- Turn left at the light and cross over the freeway to the first traffic light.
- The entry into Lake Natoma park is the NEXT right (if you pass over the river you have gone too far!)

Parking options are paid entry into the waterfront park at the first right, an overflow lot at the second right, or left turn (at the Chevron Station) at the first traffic light to overflow parking down the street. For you early morning drivers, there is a Starbucks next to the Chevron station, left turn at the light (note: there is no left turn back onto Hazel from the gas station toward the park entry, you'll have to turn right and head back toward the freeway and make a U-turn).
